These trees

These trees only need to whisper in my ear
And I am their attentive listener
They only need to stroke my cheek
And I am ready to fall into their foliage
When they wink at me
I am in love for good
They give me the definition
I am not yet aware of
They remind me of what is to come
Among them I am what I was born
And from them I will hear the song
When they call me home

  1. “Among them I am what I was born
And from them I will hear the song
When they call me home ” – so lovely and emotional, I think we have all felt like this at least once when among trees.

    1. Thank you so much! I am so bonded to the trees in the woods behind my house. I contemplate what it would be like to live without them — not a happy thought 🙂

      1. I do the same occasionaly and I have my own tree at my family’s seaside house. My grandfather wanted to cute it down to plant grapevines, but I really fought with all my life and tears to save it and I did 😀
