The only thing

Words on a page are
A trail of breadcrumbs
So I can find my way home
But every time I look back
All I see is spaces and
Up ahead more darkness and
Like hope I am lost and
The only thing left me is
To sit in the dirt and
Write more trails because
This is my map no matter
How transient

  1. Reblogged this on Dandelion Wordwebs and commented:
Take a look at this wonderful poem by Marya, on the blog “Arkadia”. It made me stop and re-read it several times. Thought-provoking and beautifully written 🙂

  2. “Words on a page are
    A trail of breadcrumbs
So I can find my way home” – so touching and true, and I was just musing some similar concepts. It is nice to know you follow your own map,it is a trait to be admired.
